We offer bi-monthly guitar jams for all the students enrolled in guitar lessons. Striving to build a sense of camaraderie at KMS, and to offer something different and also very valuable, we began these JAMS late last year. Students are split into age groups and various pieces are selected by our instructors. Then we meet and JAM! Past songs have included FREE BIRD, ROCKY TOP, ODE to JOY and the BLUES. Enroll in guitar lessons with us and you can be a part of this exciting opportunity!

In an effort to get our students performing in the community, and to expand the appreciation of live music, we frequently host casual recitals around Knoxville. For example, recently our students performed at Borders Cafe to a throng of attentive patrons and parents. Music lessons mean much more to us than expected!

Oftentimes out teachers will arrange a GROUP LESSON or PERFORMANCE CLASS (which is different than the group lessons in the Suzuki method). It is an occasion for students enrolled in piano lessons to have experience performing in front of their peers.
